Lester L. Smith invented the all plastic
toggle in 1999. He saw the need for an improved toggle bolt as
he experienced:
- 3 years USAF WW-2 flight radio operator & electronic maintenance.
- Four years mechanical &
electrical design experience.
- One year medical research in the
field of emission spectroscopy.
- Ten years electrical
construction and contracting commercial and industrial projects.
- Four years electrical
instructor, commercial-industrial electricity for Community College
of Denver
- Seven years Senior Electrical
Inspector for the City of Lakewood, CO
- Lester also has two other
patents pending for new and improved fasteners.
